Stephen G. Biography Dr. Brantley is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology.  He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with honors in 1980 and received his medical degree in 1984 from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.   Since joining Ruffolo, Hooper & Associates in 1988 Dr. Brantley has been an attending pathologist at Tampa General Hospital and is also the Medical Director of Laboratories at Kindred Hospital in both Tampa and St. Petersburg.   Dr. Brantley serves as a Clinical Associate Professor in the departments of Pathology and Internal Medicine at the University of South Florida.  He is a fellow of the College of American Pathologists and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.   Dr. Brantley is a member of the American Pathology Foundation; the Gastrointestinal Pathology Society, the Florida Society of Pathologists, and the Florida West Coast Association of Pathologists.
