Sivaselvi Gunasekaran, M.D. Board Certifications •  Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Education •  University of Madras, India Biography Dr. Gunasekaran is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology with special expertise in renal pathology, immunopathology, electron microscopy and gynecological pathology.   She received her medical degree from the University of Madras in India and completed her residency at the University of South Florida in 1979.  She has been a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of South Florida and a Lecturer at Tampa General Hospital’s School of Medical Technology since 1979. Dr. Gunasekaran is a member of the Florida Society of Pathology, The Florida West Coast Association of Pathologists (serving as president from 1989 to 1991), The Renal Pathology Society, The United States & Canadian Academy of Pathology and Florida Association Physicians of Indian Origin, American TAMIL Medical Association.
