Kurt Stonesifer, M.D. Board Certifications •   Anatomic and Clinical Pathology •   Cytopathology Education •   Rice University, Houston, Texas •   University of Texas Medical Branch,     Galveston, Texas Biography Dr. Stonesifer is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and cytopathology. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 1981. He completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Florida, where he also completed a fellowship in surgical pathology and hematopathology. Dr. Stonesifer was a Clinical Professor at the University of Florida and Chief Resident in 1984.   He previously served as a Clinical Professor at the University of South Florida and has been the Medical Director at University Community Hospital for 12 years. He is a former Chief of Staff at University Community Hospital. Dr. Stonesifer is a member of the American Pathology Foundation, the Florida Society of Pathologists, the American Registry of Pathology, and the College of American Pathologists.
