She graduated from the University of Zulia School of Medicine, Maracaibo, Venezuela in 1997. She completed her residency at the University of Arizona in June 2004. Dr. Vitko joined Ruffolo, Hooper & Associates, M.D.,P.A. and Reliance Pathology Partners, LLC as a staff pathologist specializing in hematopathology in 2004. She is a member of the United States & Canadian Academy of Pathology, American Society of Clinical Pathologists, and the College of American Pathologists.
