Dr. McCall also was a fellow in gastrointestinal pathology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. She is a member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology, the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, the Gastrointestinal Pathology Society,  the Florida Society of Pathologists, the Florida West Coast Association of Pathologists, and the Florida Medical Association.
